The Jackson County Port Authority operates the industrial water systems
which serve the county’s thriving industrial base:
- Bayou Casotte Industrial Water System
Industrial Water System serving industries in Bayou Casotte- originates at the Cumbest Bluff intake station on the Pascagoula River 15 miles north of the treatment plant. Capacity of 30 million gallons daily.
- Black Creek Water Cooling Facility
Thermal Pollution Control System serving Mississippi Power Company’s Plant Daniel
