PASCAGOULA, MS – October 4, 2023 — The Port of Pascagoula is excited to announce the second of two highly anticipated arrivals of the U.S. Maritime Administration’s (MARAD) newest Ready Reserve Force vessel, the M/V Cape Arundel. This state-of-the-art vessel will make its official homeport arrival at the Port of Pascagoula’s Singing River Island facility on October 30th at 8:00 a.m. and will join its sister ship, the M/V Caper Cortes. The Cape Arundel, along with the Caper Cortes are set to become integral parts of the Port of Pascagoula’s maritime landscape for the foreseeable future, underscoring the Port’s strategic importance and commitment to national readiness and security.
