Port of Pascagoula

Welcome to the Port of Pascagoula, a full-service deep water port with modern facilities for handling cargo.  Located in the state of Mississippi on the northern Gulf of Mexico, the Port of Pascagoula has two harbors, the Pascagoula River Harbor (West)  and the Bayou Casotte Harbor (East).  The Port’s two harbors are a combination of public and private terminals moving in excess of 35 million tons of cargo through the channels annually.

Members of the Senate Ports and Marine Resources toured the port’s two harbors aboard Signet Maritime’s M/V Signet Reliance. Senator Brice Wiggins of Pascagoula is Chairman of the committee and Senator Josh Harkins of Flowood is Vice-Chairman. The tour provided an opportunity for state legislators to view activities at the public and private marine terminals as well as the shipbuilding activities in the port.
